2324Xclusive Update: Us Rapper "T.I" Daughter Arrested With Gun At Atlanta Airport

T.I.'s daughter, 20-year-old Zonnique Pullins, was arrested yesterday (June 16) for attempting to carry a gun through airport security, according to CBS 46 News.
The OMG Girlz member was reportedly taken into custody at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and taken to Clayton County Jail where she was charged at 10 p.m. EST for the crime.
Pullins, who is one of seven children the rapper has between himself and his wife, Tameka "Tiny" Harris, was released at 2:09 a.m. this morning.
Her cousin, Tamara Whitaker, took to Instagram to make light of the situation and explain some details.
"My boo got the cutest mugshot in the game," she writes for a caption of the official photo. "Let me just clear a couple things up for you guys . Zonnique did get caught with her registered weapon but like most of us she just forgot it was in her really big purse. We were taught in my family that people are crazy out here and carrying a small gun to protect yourself is what's needed . With the late shootings and death of a pop star all in Orlando just this week , I think it's very appropriate that she carries a gun just not to the airport maybe lol. But my girl is home and good so please don't start with the ignorant rumors , she was home and handled before you even heard about it. Zonnique has great parents that made sure she was okay from the moment she was caught. Not all celebrities keep security on them 24/7 they have to protect themselves just like regular people and we all have learned even security can't always protect you . Her mugshot is still cute as hell lol"
This comes weeks after a shooting broke out at T.I.'s concert at Irving Plaza and days after amass shooting in Orlando left 50 people dead.
In New York, T.I. rapper hadn't performed yet when shots rang out, causing people to flee the venue. Three people were injured, including Troy Ave. One man, the BSB rapper's bodyguard,Banga, was killed. Troy Ave was arrested on charges of attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon after video surveillance footage surfaced of him firing shots outside a VIP green room. He is in jail at Rikers Island without bail awaiting trial.
T.I. released a statement after the shooting, expressing his sadness over the violence.
"My heart is heavy today," TIP said on IG. "Our music is intended to save lives, like it has mine and many others. My heartfelt condolences to the family that suffered the loss & my prayers are with all those injured."
The rapper, born Clifford Harris, has had his own run-ins with the law regarding guns. Hepled guilty to multiple weapons charges in 2008. He served a sentence in prison and then went back behind bars in 2010 for violating parole.
